The Naidyhorski's: We're Walking...

Within a week of their 1st birthday, Sam & Madie took their first steps, Madie on 4/29 and Sam on 5/2. We were lucky enough to be home to see them both walk. Part of us wonders if Joan didn't see it first, but she'll never say. Nearly 2 weeks later Madie would prefer to walk everywhere now, however Sam is still a little unsure of himself and knows crawling will get him from Point A to Point B faster.

Since turning 1 Sam & Madie have developed a little separation anxiety, which consists of major meltdowns when we step out of the room (even into the adjacent kitchen) for even a second. Sam has discovered the stairs and climb the entire flight to the second level (with one of our hands right behind him). Another baby gate in our future!

We joined MyGym and are enjoying the Saturday morning class with other 1 year olds, especially the swings and trampoline time. Sam & Madie also had their 1 year check-ups. Sam is in the 95% for height and weight (24 lbs 9 oz and 31 inches). Madie in the 90% for height and weight (20 lbs 9 oz 30 inches). Enjoy a few pictures and videos. Take care!
