Christmas in Wisconsin

Our first stop in our holiday travels was in northern Wisconsin to see the Naidyhorski's. For once our travel was smooth and we arrived as planned. One of the first items on the agenda was to go outside and check out the snow. Sam loved every second of it - Madie had a take it or leave it kind of attitude. The rest of our trip we visited with a lot of family and played with Aunt Shawnette, Grandma & Grandpa.

On Christmas morning we headed to the Bishell's in SW Wisconsin - a 4 hour car ride. We encountered a little snow and icy roads on the way, but arrived safely around lunch. Cousins Kolton, Ian & Cowan were patiently waiting for us to arrive to open their presents, so it wasn't too long before paper was flying!
More gifts & watching their cousins

We had a nice visit with Grandma & Grandpa Bishell although I came down with strep throat and felt miserable 3 out of the 4 days. The kids all had fun playing together and we got news that Tony & Steph are expecting in August, so there will be another cousin the mix by next Christmas!
