Venturing Out

Yesterday we took a trip to the mall for some much needed "get out of the house" time. For those who don't live here, we have been experiencing a fog of smoke from two wildfires burning in North Carolina. Some days are better than others, but this past week there has been several days with health advisories issued, so we haven't been able to take our usual neighborhood stroll. Plus, Dad is out of town, so the kids I have were getting a little cooped up. So, I decided it was time to hit the mall. I had a few things to return/exchange, so I figured I would see how much I could get done in a 2-3 hour window of time. The twins did great. They are a magnet though. I can't get through a store or even go more than a few hundred feet without a comment like, "double trouble," "how old are they," "oh look, twins - boy and girl...how adorable" etc. I have to agree, they are pretty cute.
