there's a beautiful tree
with many bright colors
for them to see.
Along their cribs
bells that jingle are strung
and close by the chimney
their stockings are hung.
On the twin’s first Christmas
there's wonderful joy
in giving to them
that first special toy --
a ball or a rattle,
a soft teddy bear
that they will cuddle
and take everywhere.
On the twin’s first Christmas
it's easy to find
two tiny children
brings another to mind.
For they remind us
in a tangible way
that Jesus was born
on that first Christmas day.
